Sewing Machine Oil and Oilers
WAWAK Sewing Machine Oil is the finest grade low viscosity lubricating oil available. It is specially formulated for sewing machines, quilting machines, embroidery machines, and other textile machinery and parts. Machine Oil is colorless and stainless, so it is perfect for use in applications where oil may come into contact with fabrics. To keep your sewing machine running smoothly, Sewing Machine Oil should not be substituted with other types of oil. Oils not formulated for use in sewing machines can leave behind residue that is damaging to the internal mechanisms of a sewing machine. Apply Machine Oil using an oiler, oil pen, or spout to help reach tight corners and prevent wasted oil when performing sewing machine maintenance.
Oiling Your Sewing Machine
Oiling a sewing machine can keep the interior mechanisms running smoothly and keep your machine in excellent condition. However, not all sewing machines need to be oiled, so refer to your sewing machine’s manual for your machine’s specific requirements. This will also tell you where and how to oil your sewing machine properly if it is required. Before oiling your machine, be sure to clean it: clear away any lint or dust with a small brush. Use only a few drops at a time in each location (unless otherwise specified), and wipe away excess oil with a soft cloth when you’re done.
