Anna Ricci / Charbel's Tuxedos and Tailoring

HOW DID YOU BECOME A MASTER TAILOR?

I started learning in Italy when I was young. I then came to the US and started working at Charbel’s.

HOW DID YOU BECOME INTERESTED IN the trade?

I started in Italy where my cousin would make homemade dresses. I would go there after school and learn. She made women’s clothes like skirts, dresses, coats, jackets and wedding gowns. I also took a design class in Italy.

What’s was one of the most challenging jobs you have ever done?

Wedding gowns are challenging. Gowns in general. There are so many layers to them. They are complicated.

What do you do to keep up with the trends?

What you learn is what you bring with you. Clothes are not made the same nowadays. Sometimes they are complicated because they make them so different now. So you have to adjust to the changing times.

When it comes to your company, what are you most proud of?

We care about our customers and would do anything for them if we can.

What do you like best about WAWAK?

What a great company. They have everything you need. You call and the next day it is here.
