The #90 as shown in the glaced cotton thread is a "ticket number" which is a way of measuring thread. It equal and tex number of about 21#. The #8-#52 size shown on the nylon blind stitch thread is a size number used for nylon monofilament thread. We have added a thickness chart for those threads under "additional information" that you can use to better understand the true thickness and uses for those thread sizes.
