For a more permanent marking, this TexPen® is formulated to remain more legible and last longer than others. The ink withstands all laundering, dry cleaning, and bleaching processes. Fully automatic, simply press the flexible rubber ball on the end for ink flow at the tip.
I'm a great Wawak fan and, true to their great customer service, they replaced the first one of these pens that I ordered when it didn't work. The second one didn't work either. I am familiar with this type of marker that requires you to press the top to get the ink to flow, so that's not the problem - although I must say that this one is pretty awkward to press. Since the first reviewer had a similarly poor experience with this product, I'm quite confident that Wawak should replace it with a better option.
I've used this pen for 20 years while in the U.S. Navy. There is an art to using this pen.
On denim(jeans) and shirts it will write no different than using an office ink pen on paper. Tee shirts the cloth has to be held in place to write upon.
Jerseys and soft and stretchy clothing, one has to dab hard as if like a sewing machine for the ink to flow from the ball point.
That ball has to be depressed into the instrument for the ink to flow.
Bought this to mark clothing to send with my child to preschool and it works terribly. I can't get the ink to flow regularly, and when I can get ink out the pen has an awful smell. Have had much better luck with other laundry marking pens.
