Yes, this oil should be placed in the oil reservoir of industrial sewing machines. We do not carry the instruction manuals for machines, but you may be able to find some videos about oiling your specific machine.

This oil is a 5-weight or (A-Oil). It would not be compatible as the #18 oil is used on machines that generate a lot of heat.
Do I need to oil my home sewing machine?

Please Note: Your answer will be displayed upon approval.
A:
Unless otherwise specified in the manual, the home machines have been pre-lubricated at the factory and will not need additional lubricating. You can however put 2 to 3 small drops of sewing machine oil in the bobbin case area, as well as on the needle bar, this will not harm the machine. You may also put a few drops on the hand wheel where it meets the side of the machine. We also recommend that you have the machine tuned-up by a qualified technician every 3 to 4 years to keep it in good running order.

I ordered sewing machine oil which is fine. I was wondering if you have the oil that goes in the pan that the head of the industrial machine sits?

A:
The sewing machine oil is to be poured into the oil reservoir on an industrial sewing machine. The location of the oil reservoir will vary depending upon the sewing machine. Generally they are located on the top of the machine. The oil is used to lubricate the rotating hook and other moving parts. The oil is not poured into the motor! Refer to your manual for your specific machine.
