I have a Singer 14T968DC which I use for cover stitch for knits. It only recommends Singer #80. What needles can I use for knits (light, medium and heavy weight)?

Hello, your Singer takes the standard home needles. Since you are sewing knits, we recommend a ballpoint tip. Singer calls their ballpoints "2045". A #80 is the needle size also known as a size 12 (SInger calls their #80 a size 11). For a light weight fabric, use a size 11, medium weight use a size 14, and a heavy weight you could use a size 18 needle. Match your thread thickness to the needle size for best results. We hope this helps.
