Should distilled water be used in the Oliso irons?

No, it is NOT recommended. Filtered or tap water is best. If the water is over 12 grams of hardness, inexpensive bottles spring water or a mixture of half tap and half distilled water is recommended. (Distilled water has no ions or minerals in it, so the water may leach the minerals and ions from the metals and cause the inner tank to break down faster. ) Note: gravity fed irons state tap water and a demineralizer resin are best for their application.
