It's important to keep ironing surfaces clean. Ez-Off removes starch, scorch, soil and foreign residue from all hot metal ironing surfaces. Apply any amount needed to your hot head mitt using the convenient tube dispenser and simply wipe clean. Non-flammable and safe for metals, fabric and skin. For best results clean daily. 5-1/4 ounces per tube.

Is EZ-Off as safe to use on home irons, as they are industrial irons?

EZ-Off is a non-abrasive cleaner made up or different types of waxes. There are no abrasives in this product that could cause harm to the surface of the iron. Please note that when cleaning off hard water deposits from an iron to be careful. The hard water deposits contain magnesium, calcium, or iron salts. These particles are metals that will act as an abrasive and cause harm to the finish of the irons.
