Additional Information:
Can it be used with heavy fabrics, such as canvas, in sewing bags and pouches? Will it gum up the needle on my sewing machine?

This is a very aggressive tape and can be used on heavy canvas. If your needle comes into contact with the tape, it could gum up it up.

When using this tape to hem leather, should the tape contact the entire hem, or is just the edge enough? For instance, can you use 1/4" tape for a 1/2" hem, or would you need to use 1/2" tape?

You're going to want to have the highest amount of surface area, so we would recommend 1/2" in this circumstance. Just make sure you don't have any overhang, as this is a very strong and aggressive adhesive.
