Fusible straight cut (not on bias) wigan roll interfacing uses either steam or heat to adhere and is great for hems. Stiff, plain weave cotton fabric used for interlining and is ideal for sleeve alterations. 100 yards per roll. Available in a variety of colors and sizes.

They are both used to provide more stability to fabrics. The stay tape is used along seams, whereas the roll interfacing is generally used to stiffen the full cuffs and collars.

Why would I choose a woven over a non-woven interfacing?

Woven interfacing has a true grain direction unlike non-woven interfacing. Woven interfacing tends to last longer and be stronger than non-woven. However, when using it, it's important that the grain of the interfacing match the grain of the fabric that it's be applied to. For best result select an interfacing that is just a little lighter weight than the fabric you will use it on
