Which scissors have the largest thumb hole as my thumb tends to get stuck because of arthritic joint?

Hi Flora, thank you for your question. We reviewed some of our shears. These scissors do have a large thumbhole, but it's a harder plastic handle. We also carry the IS420 which has a large thumbhole and the plastic is a bit softer. The easy action IS410 shears might also work for you. Hope that helps.

Scissors IS-501
I know they say Ergonomix , meaning they are ergonomic. I want to know if it means they are ergonomic handles - to fit left-handed as well as right-handed, BUT CUT as right-handed scissors?

The IS-501 are ergonomic but not ambidextrous. The IS-507 is an ergonomic left handed shear. While the handle will be comfortable to a left handed user, they will cut like a right handed scissor.

What is the warranty on Kai Scissors?

Per the manufacturer, the Kai scissors have a Lifetime Limited warranty: All Wolff®, Kai® and Ergonomix® Scissors and Shears are warranted to be free from defective workmanship and materials. Wolff Industries, Inc., at its option, will repair or replace any product which fails to conform with this warranty under normal use and service. Our liability under all warranties expressed or implied, shall be limited to the replacement or repair of defective products. Unfortunately, the scissors getting dull or getting burrs after some time is not considered part of a defect in workmanship and materials. This is normal wear and tear.

Amazing
If you're on the fence about these just BUY THEM. They're super smooth with amazing ergonomics. The best fabric scissors I've ever used. They have a satisfying clunk when using them, and are very well made. I would expect no less from a Japanese brand.
