Needs metal slider! Essential tool, but poor quality. by

3.0

I had an old Dritz gauge like this except that it had a metal slider/pointer. I loved it! It was one of my essential sewing tools. When I lost the old one, I bought one of the newer ones with the plastic slider - not good! The metal frame bends too easily, and the plastic slider sticks and deforms so it slips. Please work with the manufacturer to bring back a quality product. I would give them as gifts to every female in my family who sews.
